Engelli Bireyler ve Bakım Veren Ailelerinin Yaşadıkları Zorluklar: Sosyal İçerme Perspektifi

Abstract

Sosyal içerme, özellikle dezavantajlı kişiler için topluma katılım koşullarının iyileştirilmesi bakımından oldukça önemlidir. Bireylerin toplumun dışına itilerek toplumun bir parçası olamadığı, toplumda istedikleri şekilde rol alarak yer alamadığı, ekonomik, politik, kültürel ve sosyal hayata yeterli olarak katılamadığı durumlarda sosyal dışlanmadan söz edilir. Dezavantajlı gruplar içerisinde olan engelli veya özel gereksinimli bireyler ve ailelerinin iyilik hallerinin sağlanması için sosyal içerme olmazsa olmaz bir durumdur. Bu bağlamda, bu derleme makalesinde engelli bireyler ile ailelerine yönelik hizmetlerde gözetilmesi gereken bileşenler, ihtiyaçlar ve yaşanılan zorluklar, ailenin yaşam kalitesi ve bakım verme yükü kavramları ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, bakım alan birey ve bakım veren aile bireylerinin yaşadıkları zorluklara etki eden kriterler literatürden derlenerek bir matriste özetlenmiştir. Böylece hizmet sunucuların ve araştırmacıların konuyla ilgili bileşenleri farklı katmanları ile değerlendirmesi mümkün olacaktır.
